Detention of the Dead

When you first watched the John Hughes classic, "The Breakfast Club," did you find yourself wishing that the kids would suddenly be attacked by a hoard of flesh-eating zombies? Well, that was the case for upcoming filmmaker, Alex Craig Mann, who makes his directorial debut with the horror-comedy, "Detention of the Dead."

The film, currently in post-production, is described as a mixture between "The Breakfast Club" and "Shaun of the Dead." The story follows a group of high school misfits who are united during detention, which just so happens to occur during a zombie apocalypse. Together, the group must put their differences aside and stand against the undead.
