Takashi Shimizu's '7500' Trailer

As if flying in planes wasn't scary enough, directors LOVE to frighten me even more by making terrifying movies based on airplanes, and director, Takashi Shimizu (The Grudge), is no exception. The trailer for his newest horror, 7500, was just released, and it looks like it is most likely going to make me crap my pants and never fly alone again.

The thriller stars a slew of celebrities such as True Blood's Ryan Kwanten (YUMMY), Leslie Bibb, Amy Smart, and an almost unrecognizable Scout Taylor-Compton (Halloween). Love the short hair and tats girl! But really, lets cut the whole "emo/goth/punk" look already. We get it; you aren't the sweet little girl that Rob Zombie first cast back in 2007. But I digress...

Anyway, the film follows a group of passengers on board flight 7500 as they head from LA to Japan. In rightful horror fashion, things seem to go awry while the plane is in mid-air and scary things begin to happen. At least, I hope they'll be scary.

A supernatural force starts to terrorize the unsuspecting passengers and they must band together to take it down, before it takes them down!

I really enjoyed The Grudge and I was truly frightened of it. There is just something about Asian horror films that scare the crap out of me and their superstitions frighten me even further. I have high hopes for Shimizu's latest film, however, I'm not sure how much he can do with such a confined space, such as an airplane.

Check out the trailer below and tell me what you think!

I noticed your zombie picture on your page...they film Walking Dead here. What's your opinion on the show?

That's cool; do you ever see them filming? I LOVE, love, love the show. I've written about it a few times on my blog already and I'm probably a little bias due to my love for zombies but, it's truly an amazing drama. People complain that the shows moves too slowly but that's what I like about it; it's more about the people and what they're going through rather than just a zombie fest. Do you enjoy it?
